Birmingham's Industrial Revolution leading lights Matthew Boulton, James Watt and William Murdoch are depicted in this gleaming gilded statue. It's nicknamed the 'Golden Boys' (for its colour) and the 'Carpet Salesmen' (for the large scroll the trio are surveying).
