Lamb Inn

A rambling 15th-century inn, off the main street, where the flagstone floors, exposed beams and creaking stairs are complemented by 17 opulent antique-furnished rooms. A few have four-poster beds, and one even has its own private garden, while modern touches include Nespresso machines and slick bathrooms. Modern British cuisine is served in both the romantic restaurant and the bar.
