St Ives

This small hotel isn't actually in St Ives – it's in the suburb of Carbis Bay, a mile or so along the main road out of town. There's no sea view, but you do get smart rooms in cool monotones, an elegantly uncluttered design aesthetic, lovely bathrooms with freestanding bathtubs and posh sinks, and a cracking patio overlooking the bay.
