It’s as if gentlemanly archaeologists are still in situ: antiquarian prints of stone circles smother the walls, pelmets and chandeliers are dotted around. And whenever you glance from a window, a bit of Avebury henge appears. It's lovely, but a bit pricey – it's the location that pushes the room rates up here.
