Royal Victoria Pavilion

Top choice in Kent

The old pavilion has sat on Ramsgate seafront like an upturned boat since 1904, its grand architecture, based on the Little Theatre at Versailles, a vacant symbol of the British seaside's bygone glory days. However, in 2017 the hall was brought spectacularly back to life by Wetherspoons and is now a place to eat that packs a wow factor.

The huge arching roof covers two levels of seating, some of the many tables enjoying positions almost on the sand. The terrace on the upper level has great sea and beach views, prime position for a full English breakfast or pub pizza and ale by the Channel.
