Anchor

During Sidmouth's Folk Week festival in August, music overflows from the Anchor, with fiddlers, singers and accordion players creating a festival atmosphere, both inside and out. It's a great spot year-round, and a convivial place for a pint with the locals.

Hearty bar food is also served (mains £13, from 10am to 9pm).
