Fifteen comfortable, subtly chic, minimalist-modern rooms, with white-and-navy striped blankets, varnished-wood desks and blue flourishes, in a gorgeously restyled pair of red-brick Victorian town houses, half a mile south of the centre. Some are quite small for the price, though. Colourful paintings of Oxford adorn the walls, and the breakfasts are classy.
