Queen's Lane Coffee House

Proudly claiming to be Europe’s oldest continually working coffee house, dating back to the 1650s, this family-run central cafe preserves many original features. Rather than trading on nostalgia, though, it specialises in supplying students and tourists with reliable, no-nonsense fry-ups, Turkish-style kebabs and mixed plates, and big slices of cake, along with steaming mugs of dark, rich Turkish coffee.
