Momo

The West End

Overflowing with cushions and lamps, and staffed by tambourine-playing waiters, this atmospheric Moroccan restaurant has warm service and dishes as exciting as you dare to be. After the mezze, eschew the ubiquitous tagine (stew cooked in a clay pot) and couscous, and tuck into pastilla (sweet pigeon pie) or octopus with salt-baked beetroot. Two-/three-course set lunch (£29/39) offered for groups of nine or more.

There’s outside seating on this quiet backstreet in the warmer months.
