Mildreds

The West End

One of the West End's most enduringly popular vegetarian restaurants, Mildreds is crammed at lunchtime: you can't be shy about sharing a table in the sky-lit dining room. Expect the likes of pumpkin gnocchi (boiled and fried) with pumpkin sauce and pangrattato (fried breadcrumbs), halloumi and harissa burgers and Levantine Chick'n kebabs. There are also vegan and gluten-free options.

So popular has Mildred's become, there are now branches in Dalston, Camden and King's Cross.
