Club Gascon

Top choice in London

Marble walls, white linen and exceedingly professional staff lend an old-fashioned gentlemen's-club feel to this Michelin-starred restaurant. Dishes from France's southwest are given a contemporary work over and while it's not cheap, Gascon does offer an excellent two-course 'express lunch' (£25). Don't be shy about requesting the 'express' menu as it's not always proffered automatically.
