Stables Market

Top choice in North London

Connected to the Camden Lock Market, the Stables overflows with antiques, Asian artefacts, rugs, retro furniture and street clothing. As the name suggests, this is where up to 800 horses (who worked hauling barges on Regent's Canal) were housed. One potential draw here beyond shopping is the bronze statue of Amy Winehouse (1983–2011), the late and much missed singer-songwriter who lived in the neighbourhood.

Another attraction might be the new Vagina Museum nearby.
