Chapel Down Gin Works

North London

England's most famous winery, Kent-based Chapel Down, has branched into distilling spirits and what better place to start than with gin? Here it’s made from Bacchus and pinot noir grape skins and there's chardonnay vodka as well. Try them (shot £8) – or any of the 18 sparkling, white, red or rose wines – at this hip bar/restaurant in 'new' King's Cross.

Blotter on offer include cheese and charcuterie platers (£15).
