York & Albany

North London

Luxurious yet cosy, the York & Albany, owned by TV chef Gordon Ramsay, oozes Georgian charm. Many of the nine rooms have feature fireplaces, antique furniture, beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, lush bathrooms (with underfloor heating) and Egyptian-cotton bed linen. We love the four-poster bed and sunken bathroom in room 5.

The in-house restaurant is a destination in itself as is Ramsay's upmarket pizzeria next door.
