Megaro

North London

Now under new management, the Megaro has 49 indulgently large rooms, lovely decor, in-room creature comforts (espresso machines, fresh milk, rainforest showerheads), attentive service and an excellent bar-restaurant. There is some noise from the street, so if you're a light sleeper, go high (eg room 603) or towards the back (room 310).

Many rooms, including the very large family ones (202 and 302) that face King's Cross train station, have Murphy (or wall) beds to accommodate extra sleepers. We love the hotel's bright and highly creative external colours.
