Dressed in apian black, white and yellow, this none-too-salubrious 150-bed hostel sits right in the heart of Shoreditch's nightlife action. The four- to 12-bed dorms, sporting red metal bunks with lockable cages for storage, are pretty cramped; most are en suite or, if not, facilities are on the same landing. The location means that things can get noisy.
There's a female-only dorm on the 5th floor with eight beds per room, and a well-equipped kitchen in the basement. Guests get a 20% discount at the bar next door.
