Gloucester Life Museum

Oxford & the Cotswolds

Housed in a superb series of neighbouring 16th- and 17th-century Tudor and Jacobean timber-framed buildings, this creaky-floored folk museum examines Gloucestershire domestic life, crafts and industries from 1500 to the present. Hurry to see it before it’s too late – at the time of research, the council had announced plans to close it in the near future.
