Duke of Wellington

The Duke of Wellington is a fine traditional pub in the middle of Danby village; it serves good beer and bar meals, and has eight guest bedrooms with appealingly countrified decor. Dating from the 18th century, the pub was used as a recruitment centre during the Napoleonic Wars (hence the name).
