Riverstation

Top choice in Bristol

Riverstation's waterside location is hard to beat, with a view over the Floating Harbour, but it's the classical food that truly shines, from confit duck leg with quince and port jus, to pan-fried turbot with squid-ink sauce.

For the best views book the tables at the far end, overlooking the water, or on the terraces. The bar+kitchen (open 10am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, to 8pm Sunday) serves coffee and snacks (£6), and a short but strong brunch menu (10am to noon), featuring a tasty crushed avocado and mascarpone on toast.
