Stylish but unstuffy Queensberry is Bath's best boutique spoil. In these terraced Georgian town houses heritage roots meet snazzy gingham checks, bright upholstery, original fireplaces and free-standing tubs. It's witty (see The Rules on their website), independent (and proud of it), and service is first rate.
Prices almost double on Friday and Saturday night. Valet parking is £7. The hotel's Olive Tree Restaurant is excellent, too.
