This stalwart of Colonia Escalón still turns out well-sized rooms with plush beds to tour groups, business folk and solo travelers. The numerous staff are always smiling, there's a relaxing patio area with a dipping pool and the paint job will cheer the jet lag. The surrounding area is pleasant for walking.
