Zad Al Mosafer

Al Fayoum

The quintessential groovy hang-out in Tunis. Zad Al Mosafer's basic mudbrick-and-stone bungalows are bedecked with Bedouin rag-rugs and palm-frond furnishings. In the grounds there are oodles of cushion-strewn areas to crash out with a beer. What it lacks in amenities it makes up for in character, plus the menu of traditional Egyptian meals (LE20 to LE50) and the company are excellent.
