The homely Triomphe has a leafy lobby that feels like you've wandered into someone's living room. Spacious rooms cling to shreds of former elegance, with high ceilings and dark-wood furniture, though some are ageing more gracefully than others. It's worth paying extra for the en-suite doubles (which have balconies with side sea views) even if you're travelling solo.
The rooms on the main street are much more noisy.
