Hacienda Los Mortiños

Top choice in Central Highlands

A wonderful place to stay not far from Control Norte on the north side of the park, this modern adobe dwelling (not an old hacienda, but newly constructed) has beautiful bathrooms, pitched ceilings, comfortable private rooms, dorms that sleep between six and 16 people, and jaw-dropping views of the neighboring volcanoes.

It definitely has a homey feel, and the friendly Fernandez family can offer info on excursions to the park. Call ahead to custom-build your stay. Meals are cooked in the beautiful open kitchen.
