Geared toward foreign travelers (English, French and Italian are spoken), this guesthouse has a Moroccan feel, with a colorful tiled lobby, high ceilings and exotic wall decor. It's a super-clean and secure refuge within 10 minutes' walk of the malecón. A pretty rooftop terrace has city views and computers for guests, and there's also a kitchen for self-caterers.
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The manager Christopher Jimenez runs the affiliated travel agency. Note that at the corner, where the hostal is located the street name changes from Junin to the older Quisquis (kiss-kiss).
