Llullu Llama

Top choice in The Quilotoa Loop

Two blocks west of the plaza, Llullu Llama is an enchanting old farmhouse with thick adobe walls, colorful rooms and a woodburning stove. The biggest attractions here are the good-time vibes, friendly hosts and spectacular surroundings. Cottages with exposed wood, fireplaces, large beds and giant showers are well worth the extra cash. Rooms in the main house share bathrooms.

A solar-powered hot tub, steam room and sauna are in a small spa below ($7.50). Four new cabins (with ecological composting toilets) and a yoga studio were added in 2018: the first class at 7am is free.
