Flanked by an army of palms, this stylish and atmospheric open-air restaurant is within the Puntacana Resort complex but open to the public and worth the trip (nonguests will have to show ID). The beach here (Playa Blanca) is spectacular, and you can eat on the sand for lunch. The Dominican comfort menu is highlighted by some wild cards such as Dominican goat lasagna (US$16).
