NaturaPark has a narrow beach outside the village of Cabeza de Toro, halfway between Bávaro and Punta Cana. From the Lincoln Logs–style recycled coconut-wood lobby furniture to the beautiful free-growing mangroves on the property, it’s all got a sustainable emphasis and the 524-room resort has won awards for reducing its environmental impact.
It’s extra popular with those who care more about reducing their carbon footprint than hopping in and out of bars and clubs at night. The pool is a bit small, but the beach is quite nice. Free-range swans, geese and flamingos and the Laguna Bávaro on its doorstep means nature is never too far away here.
