El Caney

Top choice in Punta Cana & the Southeast

Location is everything and this thatch-roofed establishment (with a newer modern attached annex) just off the parking lot near the Aguitusamar guide association does a brisk business with folks heading out on excursions for the day. It serves simple but well-done Dominican breakfasts (the best mangú we had on the trip!), basic seafood and meat dishes, as well as a cheap plato del día.
