This may be the only self-proclaimed ecolodge to also contain a VIP area with Miami-style lounge beds. And while the austere concrete structure set back from the ocean may be less than inspiring, the point is this: sleeping meters from one of the most serene beaches on the DR's north coast is now possible.
Ocean toys such as kayaks and a water trampoline are included with a stay, and the restaurant is excellent, but be sure to let somebody know in advance if you plan on eating there; the chef isn't always around.
