The beach-club component of the Peninsula House hotel – open to nonguests as well – is a wonderful little plantation-style bungalow on a private lawn steps from Playa Cosón. A long-standing Dominican husband-and-wife chef team serves up a variety of eclectic gourmet dishes (fresh shrimp tacos, grilled lobster, BBQ pork ribs) from an often-changing menu scribbled on ceramic plates.
