This beautiful house, 1km from both the main intersection and Playita beach, features Mexican-influenced interiors styled by the American owner. Four rooms are available; the largest and most expensive comes with a hot tub.
There are ample spots for relaxing, from expansive hammock-strung terraces to cozy living rooms – if the weather turns sour, this is where you want to be. If not, the excellent Dominican chef, Leonel, can guide you on a 90-minute trek to Playa Rincón. Breakfast in the gorgeously tiled kitchen is the real deal and guests from other hotels often find their way here, happy to pay US$8 for the pleasure.
