Neptuno’s

Punta Cana & the Southeast

This wind-shaken restaurant-club across the street from Neptuno’s Refugio is tops for style and setting. The expansive over-water deck gleams with illuminated-shell lighting over lounge-style beds and all-white mini-cabañas. The food, pricey espeically considering the small portion sizes, features seafood specialties like lobster lasagna (RD$1290; more au gratin than traditional lasagna), seafood casserole (RD$1200) and signature red snapper stuffed with saffron and calamari (RD$1320).

If you have your own transport and plan things properly, a leisurely meal at Neptuno's makes for a fine last stop before heading to the nearby Aeropuerto Internacional Las Américas for a flight out of the country.
