A staple of the Kalinago diet, cassava bread is traditionally made just from ground manioc, but local baker Daniel Frederick adds a bit of coconut or ginger to some of his creations for sweetness. He also sells the plain version hot from the oven (EC$5 per piece) from his simple shack, which is also something of a local hangout.
