The 'Green Solution House' is easily one of Denmark's most innovative places to stay, and gives detailed insight into the possible future of construction. Every aspect of sustainability has been considered, and an exhibit on the ground level explains the decisions made and materials used in the award-winning overhaul and extension of an old hotel on this site.
It has been transformed into a hotel, conference centre and quality restaurant. The rooms are simple, comfy and slightly retro – in keeping with the spirit of recycling, functional older furniture has been reupholstered and repurposed. The light-filled lobby is a treat, as is the wall of plant life.
