Danhostel Hillerød

Zealand

Though access is through a housing estate 2.5km east of town, this low-rise, high-quality hostel has a beautiful rural feel with a sheep nibbled hillock and small tree-ringed lake behind the volleyball and mini-football pitches. It's geared towards school groups with lots of unwinding space, a library, ping-pong, billiards, games room etc.

Bus 302 drives within 500m as it loops clockwise around Fredskovhollet and bus 301 gets you nearly as close.
