Gudhjem's popular smokehouse serves deli-style fish and salads, including the classic smørrebrød topping known as Sol over Gudhjem (Sun over Gudhjem; smoked herring topped with a raw egg yolk, chives and radish on rye bread). There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and live music most nights in July and August.
Closing time for most of the opening period is 9pm (10pm from mid-June to mid-August).
