Billesgade

Odense

This spotless B&B has six hotel-standard rooms, each trio sharing a bathroom. There's a communal kitchenette with free coffee and tea, or you can opt for an agreeable breakfast (75kr) made with eggs laid by the hosts' own chickens.

There's also a fully furnished apartment with double bed up numerous stairs next door, three further singles up a ladder in the eaves and use of a small garden terrace (not accessible to the other B&B rooms). It's on a typical residential road with free street parking, a 15-minute walk from the centre and handy for local supermarkets. Bike rental per day/week costs 80/450kr.
