Low-key and friendly, Bodega comes with concrete floors, picnic-style outdoor tables and a short clipboard menu of simple, mostly Danish dishes. From the marinated herring and sauces to the burger buns, much of what is on your plate is made in-house. It serves classic, honest fare, from fresh lunchtime smørrebrød (open sandwiches) and pork roast sandwiches with red cabbage, to evening moules-frites.
The venue is also popular for its cocktails – check its Facebook page for special party nights and events. Note that the kitchen itself closes at 9pm Monday to Saturday and at 4pm on Sunday.
