Design Hotel Sax

Malá Strana

Set in a quiet corner of Malá Strana, amid embassies and monastery gardens, the Sax is refreshingly different. The building is 18th century on the outside, but the interior has been remodelled with expertly curated classic furniture and design from the 1950s, '60s and '70s – bold and colourful retro decor and stylish bedrooms. There's a dramatic glass-roofed atrium where the courtyard used to be.

Some of the rooms are on the small side.
