La Corte del Príncipe

Havana

An out-of-the-way location has never seemed to hinder this restaurant, which has developed a loyal following over the years. The reason? It’s probably the most authentic Italian joint in town, serving homemade pasta, eggplant parmigiana, epic prawns and focaccia (but not pizza). It even keeps Italian hours, closing briefly for an afternoon siesta.

Shiny fresh vegetables in display baskets add to the allure. Seating is mainly alfresco and limited, so it's wise to book ahead.
