H10 Habana Panorama

Havana

This flashy 'glass cathedral' on Playa's still-developing hotel strip is effectively a self-contained resort, which has its advantages when you're this far from the city center. Acres of blue-tinted glass and a vaguely aquamarine theme frame a monumental lobby, where space-age elevators whisk guests up to one of the 317 bright rooms that offer great views over Miramar and beyond.

The many facilities include a business center, several shops, numerous restaurants, a spacious and shapely swimming pool, and fitness rooms. The Panorama is big – almost too big – although the lack of intimacy is made up for by pretty slick service as far as Cuban state-run hotels go.
