Casa 1932

Top choice in Havana

Every piece of furniture has a story to tell at the carefully curated home of Luís Miguel, a cool connoisseur of art deco who offers his house as both boutique private homestay and museum to the 1930s, when his preferred architectural style was in vogue.

You can ask about the provenance of any number of assembled collectibles, including ornamental mirrors, French statuettes and pre-revolutionary casino chips as you enjoy the vintage atmosphere in one of three comfortable rooms and tuck into huge breakfasts (pancakes and peanut butter included!).

The biggest bonus, however, is Luís Miguel himself, a mine of local history and culture who runs his own tour company, Havana Super Tour.
