Teatro América

Havana

Housed in a classic art deco rascacielo (skyscraper), the América seems to have changed little since its theatrical heyday in the 1930s and '40s. It hosts variety, comedy, dance, jazz and salsa; shows are normally held on Saturday at 8:30pm and on Sunday at 5pm.

The curvaceous, recently renovated interior is worth perusing.
