Villa El Saltón

This 22-room lodge spreads over three blocks, nestled like hidden tree houses amid thick foliage. Invigorating extras include a sauna, hot tub, massage facilities and the hotel's defining feature, a refreshing natural waterfall and pool. The so-so restaurant/bar is popular for billiards, adjacent to a gushing river. Rooms themselves are nothing special.
