Hotel Colón

Camagüey

This central mainstay has been outshone by newer offerings. The classic mahogany bar, tile walls and a stained-glass portrait of Christopher Columbus over the lobby door imbue a mixed colonial and fin-de-siècle feel, although rooms are mostly tiny. The bar is a favorite of older tourists courting their young Cuban dates.
