Named after the terracotta statue of Apollo on the roof, this grand old building was built in 1887 for the local luminary who's buried in the lavish domed mausoleum next door. The building's now an elegant boutique hotel, with antique-style furniture and a claw-foot bath-tub in the spacious suite. The restaurant is worth checking out, even if you're not staying here.
