Boškinac

Top choice in Pag Island

The most sophisticated place to stay, eat and drink on Pag, this wonderful little winery-hotel offers eight huge rooms and three suites in a blissful rural location surrounded by vines. Even if you're not staying here, be sure to sample the wine (cellar hours are noon to 1am) and dine at the acclaimed restaurant (mains 70KN to 160KN).

The winery's cabernet-merlot blend is excellent and it's the only place in the world growing and making wine from Gegić, a grape endemic to Pag (producing an elegant white). It's about 3km north of Novalja; follow the signs towards Stara Novalja.
