With a gorgeous location beside a rocky cove, this historic hotel has celebrity cachet in spades (Coco Chanel and the Kennedys were guests here). The interior remains grand and impressive, with a sweeping staircase, chandeliers and plenty of period charm. Many rooms have sea views, though the mansard rooms are a bit poky for these prices.
