Right on the beach on the western side of town, this small, well-run hotel started life as an Austro-Hungarian army barracks. The emperor's troops have long since departed and today it's the tourists who enjoy the decent, if smallish, carpeted rooms and apartments. Dinner is a very reasonable extra 100KN and breakfast a less attractive 65KN.
